They might not look like much but we have fantastic new back steps.

They are super solid, built on a steel frame and made out of proper, thick pieces of wood.

The ones that were on our current deck were totally crap-tac-ular and they actually came apart from the deck. The deck is in pretty shabby shape, the boards are spongey in spots and hope to do some repairs on it this summer. One day, we will knock the whole thing down and built a fancy new one but, for now, it'll have to do.

Right now, I'm just so happy that we have safe, solid, back steps. We can actually use our back door again, will wonders ever cease??

I sure hope not!!
