don't ask me why but I thought that this was probably one of the funniest things I'd seen in a while. Well, at least today.

We're having some work done our gate. The folks who lived here before us built this horrible, heavy, silly gate for the fence. I think it was built from 2x4"'s and it weighed a tonne.

Later on in the summer (or possibly the early part of the fall) we're getting a new deck. Our old one was here when we bought the house. Not only is it not properly anchored to the house, there is a fair bit of wood rot happening. It'll be so nice to get it done. We' ll be expanding it too, so it'll run the entire length of the back of the house. So nice!
